  1. Yes, I've tried and is very successful. Checks i've made: 1. Check to see if the business is publicly traded 2. Understand the plan inside out before your start 3. Its normally a lot more detailed than the Ad 4. Find out how much will it cost you monthly b4 u enter your credit card 5. You normally have to work, they normally don't work well when you, 'set it and forget it'
  2. Hi Canary5 Well let me start by saying that there are plenty of scams out there, so it is very important to do your research before starting anything. Not only just to sift through the scams, but to discover what is right for you. A good place to start is to write down a list of everything you are interested in, your hobbies, skills, subjects that you knowledgeable in, etc. What is it that you can offer that might make someone else's life better or easier? From there I would suggest joining a few Affiliate Program based around your list. If you want to find a good one, once again look around until you find what suites you. A good place to start is Clickbank or MillNic Media. These web sites are Affiliate Directories, and you can always search Google for other similar directory sites if you need to. Remember due diligence is the key. Do your research first! TIP: When choosing an Affiliate Program look for the ones that offer monthly payments, as apposed to a one off commission. There are lots of people out there who have made successful home businesses online. Just keep at it, set your goals, write a plan and don't give up!
  3. I work from home for a great company! There are many jobs you can do from home, but you have to realize that you are actually going to be working... from home. It can be very challenging, as there are sometimes a lot of distractions in the home that you wouldn't have in an office. Anyway, here is a list of legitimate companies that hire home-based workers: * Alpine Access is a call center company that uses customer service representatives who work from home. Employees use their own telephones and computers. The company provides representatives for clients like Office Depot and J. Crew. * Convergys hires home-based call center agents who provide support in customer service, and also supplies sales agents or help-desk staff for companies. * Extended Presence provides its clients with outbound sales agents and marketing support staff who work from home. * Internet Girl Friday provides information technology support as well as administrative services for clients nationwide. * LiveOps provides customer service support for a variety of major corporations. * Spheris provides support to medical professionals. Its services include medical transcription and clinical documentation. * Staffcentrix supplies virtual assistants for business clients, including CEOs and upper management of major corporations. * VIPDesk provides call center support and also offers a home-based concierge service to clients. * Voicelog provides representatives to perform verifications for transactions done online or by telephone. Many states require changes to telephone service and other remote transactions to be verified by a third party, which VoiceLog provides. * West At Home also hires home-based customer service agents. They cater to a specific range of industries, specializing in health care and pharmaceutical support, as well as the hospitality industry. * ODesk is a free website that advertises home-based jobs and allows you to apply for thousands of different jobs in your area of expertise. Please remember that there a MANY people out there looking for the same thing you are, so you have to have perseverance. But don't give up! The more networking you do, and the more you get your resume out there, the better your chances of finding something. I did!
  4. There are many online opportunities out there that are legitimate however most are not, so please do your research. I have tried many and this system seems to work for me. Very honest group of people willing to help each other succeed. The support you get is one on one via members website, email newsletters and my favorite; personal chat. I owe my success because of this type of support. Try it and I will personally support you along the way. Most systems out there are scams because people don’t know what to do to make an income after they sign up. This has more support than any other. Check out the sources links.
  5. I really love what I do and I work from home. The company is awesome and has been around for over 15 years. They are nationwide and offer a 401k plan, household benefits from the first day you start working and the income is great. You get to earn as you train and no experience is needed, I certainly had none and I was successful right away. I get to help people everyday which is rewarding as well as profitable. It is mostly computer and telephone (customer service, not telemarketing). I would be happy to share more details if it sounds like something you would be interested in, you can contact me through my profile, or you can find out more company information at the link below. I hope you find what you are looking for!
  6. The first thing you need to decide is whether you're looking for a job or a business. There are several "jobs" out there but unless you manage to find a telecommuting job with a company, the jobs don't pay too well. Most of the work you do will be dependent upon what work is available. Jobs such as ChaCha, can be a lot of fun, but again--limited in the amount of money you can earn. A business can possibly have better income, but it all depends on you. The amount of income you earn will be dependent on you and not what work is available. Most of the companies will have a fee to pay for the starter kit. The cost can range. Some companies require inventory, so the starter kit is higher. I joined Scentsy and am having a great time with them. The starter kit for them was only $99. The best thing you can do is to follow your passion. If you're doing something you love, then it is definitely worth it. Do your research and ask a lot of questions. Good luck! Lisa
  7. Yes, I have tried homebiz opportunities. Just make sure you do some research. I jumped from place to place for years until I found what I was looking for. Please keep in mind that most businesses don't work for most people because they lack the desire and commitment to follow through. Check out this site and see what you think. Good Luck. http://www.retiredebtfreeandhappy.com
